Support Full Circle’s First Annual Ride for Health!

We would like to invite you to support two great causes and to consider participating by joining us for the ride, as well as by contributing to the Razoo campaign ( and by posting your own videos. Here’s more information!

mother-childFull Circle Adoptions’ Director, Marla Allisan, is riding the TD 5-Boro Bike Ride in NYC on May 1st, 2016 as a benefit for both the American Cancer Society and Full Circle Adoptions. We are riding for the health and well-being of our loved ones as well as for the continued good work of our adoption agency. We all have loved ones who have struggled with and/or died of cancer. We’d like to contribute to ending that suffering and supporting life-extending treatment and cures.

The Full Circle Ride for Health is dedicated to the loving memory of Nancy R. Davies and in support of the ongoing successful treatment of four-year-old Ian Lasker who is beating leukemia with everyone’s love and help.

childNancy R. Davies’ photo shows her with her beloved grandson. Nancy was a loving and selfless mother to Full Circle Adoptions’ Case Manager, Meredith Davies (as well as to daughter Heather and son Rick), and a devoted wife to Richard and grandmother to Trevor, before she lost her life to breast cancer in December, 2015.  Nancy is missed terribly by her friends, family, and community. She was an amazing warm and loving woman, and we dearly wish she could have had a longer life with her family.

We are also riding in honor and support of Ian Lasker and his family in his efforts to regain full health. Ian was placed for adoption, by Full Circle, with Matt and Erin Lasker. At the age of 3 1/2, Ian was diagnosed with leukemia and he has been receiving successful treatment in Boston. We are cheeringfor him and the entire Lasker family, as well as his very loving birth family, with each “Full Circle” ofour bike wheels.

We all have loved ones who have faced this terrible disease. Some have survived thanks to wonderful effective treatments; Marla is grateful to Dana Farber for the successful treatment of a member of her family who was cured of cancer. Still, others have not survived or are struggling with the ongoing stressful process of treatment. Please join us to honor the memory of Nancy Davies and to encourage the spirits of the Lasker family as Team Full Circle rides for the health of our loved ones as well as the well-being of the agency.

In celebration of Marla’s upcoming 60th birthday this year, we are encouraging donations on the agency’s Razoo page ( in increments of $60.00; half of all the donations raised will benefit the American Cancer Society, and the other half of donations raised will benefit Full Circle Adoptions. If you want to create your own YouTube video speaking to: Why I Am Donating to the American Cancer Society and Full Circle Adoptions, please send us the link to your video and we will include it on our website!
